Gotta love a kid’s accessory that’s dapper, yet still fun and young. Oh … If only we had more dressy events to attend. Though, truth be told, Max would wear these with a t-shirt to go play at the park given the chance.
I loved making these and playing around choosing which motifs to highlight from each and every print in all 3 colourways of Les Monsieurs. There are even a few double ones in there. A fun and quick project for fabric scraps.
Crazy hot & humid here. A little refreshment was in store. Lemonade seemed the logical choice, but not your typical hum-drum lemonade. It may look a bit like tomato juice, but I assure you it is a light refreshing berry drink.
1/4 cup sugar (I don’t like overly sweet juice, so adjust to your taste)
1 litre water
4 lemons, squeezed
1/3 cup raspberries
Combine sugar with a cup or so of water in a saucepan. Heat on stove until sugar is dissolved to make a simple syrup.
Pour raspberries, lemon juice & syrup into a blender and mix well.
Combine with remaining water in a jug. Refrigerate until well chilled. Pour over ice in a glass to serve.
